The Champlin Foundation
One important goal is to fund tax exempt organizations within Rhode Island that will have the greatest impact on the broadest possible segment of the population.

Funding Cycle

Grant requests are accepted between March 1st and April 30th.

Requests are researched and evaluated by the Executive Committee throughout the summer and fall in preparation for the Annual Meeting held in mid-November.

Unsuccessful applicants will be notified in writing anytime from one week to nine months from receipt of their application.

Successful applicants are notified shortly after the Annual Meeting in November.

Funds are distributed in mid-December.

Grants are awarded on an annual basis with decisions on funding becoming final at our Annual Meeting which

occurs in November.

All applicants will be advised in writing shortly thereafter.

Successful applicants will usually receive grant funds in mid to late December.

Champlin funds must be deposited into a separate, interest bearing account immediately upon receipt as an

express condition of receiving a grant.
